Default Boyer 1/10 Scale Truggy Chassis questions

Hey folks had a search about and was unable to find an answer so figured id try a thread and hoping someone could shed some light on it, been thinking about buying the above but have heard the welding on the shock mounting plates leaves a lot to be desired and is somewhat crap and flexy but i don't know if thats just fact or just gossip not a lot of info about them over here in england, also would the running gear from a scx10 mount up to it ok ( think i read somewhere it would if it was raised up a little)i cant see the axles and links being a issue was not sure if there is a enough room to get the Transmission in there, or would i be better off buying the rc4wd tranny?

Thanks

Karl
