Default Designing a Frame.

Here are shots of the frames i have been working on for a couple of months.i have gone through about 25-30 different designs to get to the ones that i am happy with. i do all the trial and error on the computer first.made a couple of prototypes and built a few trucks. sounds easy but takes alot of time coming up with the right set up. what do you guys think ?
Check out my Vendors section with all the info on the frames.

Are you actually making the chassis that is closest to the camera on the bottom pic? That looks like it may work for what I am trying to to. I am assuming it uses Jugg leafs and shackles? Look good though, look beefy.

I always prototype first, to make sure the thing behaves well. Once I get the link mounts, shock mounts, tranny mouts, etc where they need to be, it's just a matter of playing connect-the-dots.

Better to have an ugly prototype (you're just going to drill holes in it anyway) and a good final product than the other way round.

Usings leafs instead of a 4-link makes your setup a lot easier, though. Looks pretty sweet.

Looks good. Do you make the adapter for on the axle housing that the leafs are attached too, or is that from something else?

Also, have a pic of the chassis I mentioned before in my first post?

i made the leaf springs mount also. there are made from delrin. they screw into the axle housing and the leaf springs screw into that.

Looks like some really nice machine work I like the leaf spring mounts out of delrin, I bet you could sell alot of those here as there are quite a few tlt leaf springs builds going on. Keep up the good work, im sure the end product will be very demanding

nice work, how much does the chassis weigh with the skid plate and cross rails and nothing else on it?

i cut these chassis out on a CNC router and use 1/4" 6061 t6 aluminum
water jet would be way too expensive.
