I hope not, they still have all the tooling to make the old bruiser why just rehash the body, we'll see. I'm sure it will be big bucks though.

This will make the vintage ones lose their value

They're toys, not gold.

I think those are the most realistic. Would love to see that one come back. Wish I could afford just a set of axles

Heard rumor about it coming back last year i think? Maybe with rc4wd kicking tamiya's ass in the scale depot. they are scrambling like eggs to get something worth buying back on the shelves.

I have the new Hilux and (after a couple years) put on Rc4wd k44's front and back. It was hard to shell out the bucks but worth it.... to me. The only parts left that are Tamiya are the frame rails, transmission, and body.

If they changed the body it wouldn't be a re-release, it would be a new release.
I'm glad they have kept it close to original, I cant wait to build one again.

Omg... It's perfect... That's gonna save a heap of time restoring mine to box art
I don't care if the parts value drops... I'll have an original AND a new one, just like my sand rover
Couldn't be happier!!!
Now... When can I get one???
