Default Hope this helps...

I hope that this helps out. It's a few shots of my Euro Trials rig. I used a 3 link setup on it and it worked out really well.

If it isn't what your looking for then......enjoy the pics :-)

Default Well...

It turned out that a rod end fit perfectly around the link that I had running from the center of the chassis to the axel. Then I just used a wheel collar to hold it in place.

What is the benefit of a 3 link? It seems that the axel will shift left/right as the axle moves up and down.

That wouldn't be a 3 link would it? That's a 2 link with a (drawing a blank on the name) ____ bar, right? I thought a three link was like the guy that used the maxx arm on the back of that tuber? I could be wrong but this ^^ is like the rear of an old chevy pickup or something.. I wish I could remember what it's called....

Yes, just like any vehicle with a track bar. Most newer vehicles(with solid axles) have them. I can't think of any coil-sprung, solid axle truck that doesn't have one whether it is a 3-link or 5-link. The 3-link pictured is similar to the front end of an E.B. except the track bar would be located to the axle rather than one of the radius arms. For the 5-link, just look under any stock TJ.

Actually if you look it has 3 links plus a panhard bar. there are two links on one side and one on the other.

Its a two link (kinda like a radius arm) with a panhard bar in the front and a 3-link wishbone setup in the rear.

AND..here is my RC(its not a scale rig, but it may give you an idea?) I did it with a 3-link wishbone front and rear.....

yes it works without a panhard bar. The triangulation of the upper link eliminates any side to side movement. It works for the rock krawler kit for TJ's.
