there have been tons of buggy leaf builds if that is what you mean???
if you mean 1/4 eliptical i havent really seen one unless i missed it, but i think that was a quick passing fad in the 1:1 scene wasnt it????

I can't find a pic.
It's half a leaf bolted to the frame rail. At the same spot on the leaf the axle would bolt. Then it extends toward the rear of the truck. Where a shackle bolts to the eye of the half leaf. The other end of the shackle bolts to the normal leaf setup eye.

close but not exactly. there should be another leaf spring pack instead of bolt to the axle.

Dunno why people have a hard time comprehending this. Picture and ellipse, 1/2 eliptical would be the common leaf spring, 1/4 elliptical would be like the FJ buggy pictured above, and buggy leaf is often called 3/4 elliptical. It's really simple.

Definitely should look cool and scale. Get some TLT shocks turned down and minus the springs maybe?

Paint the bodies white and paint Rancho on the side.

No, I think polished would look great. Maybe paint the ends with red or blue metallic to look like anodized ends. Fox or SAW looking.
