|  Need width of scx10 axles with 650 SLW hubs and/or 750? Pondering wraith vs scx10.
I am doing a couple builds and I'm wondering wether to go scx10 axles with 650/750 hubs or wraith axles. I would rather do scx10 withOut the shifted driveshafts like the wraith, but wonder if the wide hubs will look silly or un scale. Any advice would be appreciated. Wraiths always seem too wide and scx10 too narrow....so I was thinking SlW hubs could compensate. I want to put some money into these Axles like VP aluminum cases, so please offer your opinions on the subject. I'm sure I'm Not the only one pondering this. |

You could always narrow a set of wraith axles or widen a set of scx axles?

I'm no machinist for the drive shafts and I wouldnt be able to run the vp aluminum purdy cases.

Why not do xr mod on ax axles? You can vary width and have alot less scrub because you wont need wide hubs. You can do the whole conversion with a drill and dremel. Its not hard. |

I'll look into it. Don't know a whole lot about it to be honest.

You can vary the width buy approx 1/4" more per side to just under a inch. If you cut shafts to fit, they are 11mm shorter per side. Uncut your adding 22mm plus extra distance universal creates. Shorter then wraith but quite a bit more then ax. Its a good compromise |
