Default Opinions wanted on a scale RTR buy

Im deciding between models.

Axial SCX10
Axial Wraith
RC4WD Trailstomper

I would like yalls opinions on the three of these.
I bought a RS10 about a year ago and have outgrown the old cat.
Now i would like to build a scale 'look-a-like' of my jeep.
Now i know you guys are thinking, "just get a Tamiya YJ, and call it a day."
IMO the Tamiya YJ looks cheaply made and kinda goofy.
Thanks for any feedback guys and happy crawlin'.

Heres a pic of my YJ

In my opinion the scx10 will be the way to go for a scale build. The axles on the wraith may be to wide to get a body to fit correctly. If you go the scx10 route get the dingo! There are more hard body options out their that match the shorter wheel base of the dingo. Of course that is something that always be changed shorter or longer any ways!

Watched a few videos on the trailstomper and its suspension is WAY to stiff with those leaf springs.

that body has a wheelbase around 9.5 inches. the honcho wheelbase is almost 12.5 inches
even a dingo would be to long. at 11.3 inch

unless you run a stock body that comes with whatever rtr or kit you get, you will have to build/rebuild the truck to fit the body you want.

if your not ready to do some serious work to make the tamiya fit, go with the proline jeep and ether get the dingo kit and build longer links, or the honcho rtr and build shorter links.your gonna have to alter the wheelbase ether way you go.
i agree with ya on the tamiya kit. i know tamiya has been around forever and makes great cars and trucks, but i think they look like toy grade rc

heres the proline jeep

Get the honcho and while you're there get some jato rod ends and make your own links and you can have whatever wheelbase you want..

How To: Make your own links
