i was thinking about it also only using tlt axles with bf mudders 1:9 tires for the smaller wheeelbase and what not.

hey man have you physically seen a lunchbox? its frikin tiny i thought about using mine for a tlt or something but its only got like an 8 inch wheelbase. but get a lunchbox strap a 19 turn or something insane(like i did) like a 10 turn and rip wheelie all day long and embarass touring cars in process. the thing weighs like 2 pounds its a blast

what about mini lst axles as i believe they are only 8 inches with mini-t wheels and then you wouldn't need to worry about over articulation or extreme body rubbing as they are independent axles;)
