What is your idea of a good area to crawl and or trail run?

Here in kansas it is hard to find good spots. I personally like areas with lots of different surfaces and ways around rock. whether they be easy trails with some tight rock spaces that force you to go up a rock or two in order to get through. Or hard tricky climbs that will get you introuble before you know it.

check out any state parks around you.they will have hiking trails.
any rivers or creeks around you? they can be fun as well.

The beauty of scalers is that would can build a scale obstacle course fairly easily. I like a course that is a mix of dirt and rocks and not just one long man-made rock trail. When it's a mix with some ruts, ditches, rocks, climbs, logs, etc, it's a lot more like real off-road.

That is about how I feel. Just a bunch of rocks piled up is not what I consider fun. Different obstacles and hill climbs make it more exciting . This is what the topic is about not where is there to go!
