I am blown away by some of the scalers I see in here! I need to build one, but a source for the body eludes me. I'd like a hard body, and I'll likely use VMG axles, so 1/20 scale or so? I like the smaller truck bodies, Rangers, Toyota, etc. How big is the Bruiser body?

Ebay, the amount of toys that have good realistic shells is amazing. Failing that car bootsales are good aswell, i picked up my unimog shell in a car bootsale for £1. GulaVW69: i've a radioshack truck the same as that, i love it, great fun to crawl with even tho theres no suspension

If the price is right on the pumpkin body, I might be interested. I was thinking of a more current body style, but who knows what'll come up? Thanks for all the links, etc, keep the info coming! The FJ is cool, but all the ones I saw on eBay were more than I want to spend for a body...

That sounds interesting. Happen to have a pic of it next to something common, like a dollar or a pack of smokes or something for size reference?

I'll have to take a look. I think all I have are photos of it in the box. I'm trying to get rid of this whole car on Craigslist and not having much luck. If anything, I'll snap some pics tonight when I get home... This is the only photo I have at the moment: Last edited by K_B; 09-13-2006 at 08:06 PM.

Here's a couple other shots of the thing. Sorry for the crap quality; couldn't steal my neighbor's camera so I had to use my cell phone... It's actually a pretty cool body. Just found out the back comes off to convert it to the SUT. Lights would be easy to install... Last edited by K_B; 11-14-2008 at 10:07 PM.

Sorry for the Hi-jack,Does anyone remember Wild and Crazy kids from the early 90's on Nickelodeon? They had a episode were they had about 50 Taiyo's and had a flat roller going back and forth crushing 'em to see who could last the longest.....Sorry.

HAHA I remember that too!!! All the kids had googles painted black with just pinholes in them. I couldn't remember what kind of RC's they were though. On the actual topic. I just bought a hardbody today, it is the Dale Earnhart SS chevy extended cab. I would say it is closer to 10th scale though, looks good over tlt axles. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-DALE-EARNHAR...QQcmdZViewItem I think it looks great.
