| IFS Chimera help
Well after driving my scx10 cherokee for a year with an E-revo 2spd trany decided the build a scaler thats more stable but just as fun to drive. So I took the E-revo trany and rear axle out of the cherokee, plus the front half of a slash 4x4 roller thats been laying around and some other miscellanies parts. In an afternoon I had a runing chassis. Took it out to a local comp to see how it handles on the rocks and was quit pleased on the performance just needs some tuning and reposition the rear shocks and rockers up higher which means I need to build a body thinking of doing a tuber but can't decide on a stile which is what I need help with, can you guys give me some ideas?? |

"chimera" is more for fun and will be in the concept stage tell i get a mig-welder, then I may tackle a full custom chassis.

Been awhile but have a small update. An idea for the body. And the start of a new chassis. |

This is looking teresting. I want ot build a unique KOH style rig but I like where you are going with this. The IFS and solid rear axle is a sweet setup. While I am not a huge fan of cantilevered suspension it looks like you are heading somewhere with this. Keep up the good work and keep the pics rolling in.

I have witnessed with builds it is easier to pic out a body and build the cage around that then to find a body to fit your cage. Search The thug. Or. Dorkstars hybrid. Good luck |

Unfortunitly still can't deside on how I want this to look, and with school stuff coming up I'm going to shelf this project for the time being.

Nice rig. Have some questions. - The traxxas chassis is a Slash 1/6 4x4 Chassis? - you set the WB at 12"???? - The shock towers aren´t from an 1/16 Slash. |
