Jugg spring?

Help me out here guy. How soft are the Jugg leaf springs when you only run one leaf? Im looking to do a buggy leaf. Will they get decent flex or are they too stiff?

With a single spring you will get a good amount of flex. On the bad side, you will destoy the spring by flexing it alot.

Thanks RD, even with the buggy leaf? is it better to run two leafs with it?

They are so cheap you can mix and match. Untill you get what you want.
You don't need a buggy leaf setup. To get leafs to flex.

You don't need a buggy leaf when using one Juggy leaf, but you will get more flex with a buggy leaf done right.

Keep an eye out this weekend for new pics of my Moutaineer flatbed in this scale forum. I redid both the front and rear suspension and improved my buggy leaf's flex in the rear.

I was just impling that a standard leaf setup will flexx too. Not saying anything negative about a buggy leaf they are unique and work well.
I'm running all three leafs.

I'd like to see the suspension on that. I never thought you could get that much flex with 3 leaf juggy springs.

Cole isn't running juggy leafs, he's running bruisers, or so was stated in another thread. I plan to run juggy leafs and from what I hear they could use all the help they can get.

Long shackle at the right angle is the key. In that pic are bruiser springs. When I put jugg springs in, it was about a quarter inch less.

So your not really flexing the leafs all that much, the shackle is doing most of the work?. It seems like those extra long shackles work like a double shackle setup would.

here is another method from a guy over on scale 4x4, I tried this after looking at his pics on my bruiser, it works pretty damn good too. 1 leaf jugg springs. stock tlt parts. over 4" of flex / travel.
