Default small scale yota..

hey guys iam back with another yota.. this time its oldschool, i had it built up and almost ready to drive then decided it wasnt tall enough and the suspension was crap so i tore it down and made a new frame and leafs for it.. heres some of the old and newest stuff of it..

Yea apparently those things are damn near impossible to find I spent the entire morning looking for a SSMT with no such luck :-(

the 1/43 axles are still available in Canada if you have a friend up there...

outcastrc over at scale4x4 might be able to get you a set but be prepared to pay about $30-35 for a set though....

Nice rig Swamped, get some video of that thing!

thanks for the comments guys these things are fun to mess with but some of those bruiser yotas are waayy better haha

the springs are the coiled up spring used for the pull start thing on a gas powered car i just cut them down and used them for leafs

ive added a few details since the last pics..and got a new steering servo.. iam going to use all mini electronics on it.. all together the electronics will be around $120 so i have to wait till next week to get the speed control and reciever and stuff.. but heres what i have for now..

maybe trade for my little 1/24th scale super slick?

trade my yota for a regular ssmt? no way man lol then id be right where i started..
