Default Platform for my 1.1 Tacoma

So I've been part of RC for a little bit now, just got done doing a lot of work to my 1.1 crawler and was thinkin with winter coming up I would love to do a scaled RC of this thing. At first glance I though the honcho would be perfect base!! But I'm afraid it might be to long. Any thoughts? Questions that would help me acquire a good platform

Here is my truck...

You might have to go with a Dingo wheelbase. You can easily adjust the wheelbase by using the Honcho frame. I modeled a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Extra cab with a flat bed and the Honcho length turned out to be just right.

Ill hafta do some conversions. I'm 103" wheelbase stock and now I'm at 108". Maybe a dingo, with a modified honcho body? Could always get a little stretch out of the links. Sweet trucks btw. D44 in the front of that taco?

The mini Tacoma that you see on the fender used a honcho body and it worked just fine. You could cut up a Honcho body to make it look like a single cab. Then, use Shoe-Goo or Goop to put it back together.

It did have a built HP D44 and a Tacoma rear end with e-locker on 37"s. This picture was right after the D60/14Bolt conversion on 40" iroks
