Beware - Once you do, you'll never build a rig without. The ease of use and weight distro alone is payout enough.

Sorry for the photos - some are washed a little...... I was told these new smart phones are the best cameras out there.

My lowers are Blue monkey wraith lowers. So my axle is pushed slightly forward. Uppers are home made Ti with a slight bend at the chassis side.

XR mod axle with RCBro tubes and DSW upper link mount, and his wraith servo mount.

Full droop from the side

Compressed from the side

Clearance on the front driveshaft

CRAP Photo but you can see my only problem child, if you want to call it that - Spur nut just touches the back of the servo 1/8 or so from the bottom of the shock travel.

Now the servo mount is for the wraith to push the servo back - So if I change that, all is good in the world. I set it up like this bc of the body I was working with.
But all in all, like everything RC... If you want it, It CAN be done.
Every truck will be a little different, but with enough tinkering - You CAN DO IT!!

Damn. Nice job! You need one of those stubby servos. Although unless your jumping it, both sides shouldn't compress at the same time.

Yeah, I can take more off the nut without worry or slide the servo forward, ect ect The set up is far from done on this rig.
But it just proves anything can be done with some tinkering.

Now I just need portals.

Will this motor mount work with the SSD CMS/3 link setup?

I'm unfamiliar with it, I'll do some googling! The key factor is servo placement and upper link placement. If its directly on top of the diff it could come in contact with the spur gear like the blue monkey setup. Love the blue monkey plate so I made my own upper link mount. Pics are in the install thread.

Location of the servo also. Level3 racing cms kit puts your servo where it runs into my spur. A customer PatM solved this issue by standing the servo up with stock servo mounts. Pics are also in the install thread!

But I'll see what I can find on your kit and see if I see any issues.

Works with my vp setup no clearance issues.. Good product can't wait to see one to see one so the motor can sit on the other side! Good work I'd buy another for sure

Zuk's mount has to be the best performance upgrade released in a long time the benefit of having that heavy motor down low and still tucked safe is brilliant........

Ok TZ FMM owners, did you drill or grind flat spots?

I'm curious too! After seeing the way Harley did his I'm going to be swapping all my rigs over to the thru pin style!

There should be a disclaimer that build threads are part of the deal! I've sent these all over the world and hardly ever get any feedback! I guess no news is good news!
