|  Vanagon Syncro Westfalia
I love camper vans and i've had a few (full scale). I had a westfalia that was sweet, and i put a subaru motor in it which made it even better. I had serious lust for a syncro (4WD) westfalia but they are out of my price range. Has anyone ever seen a 1/10 scale vanagon body? I've been searching and haven't found one. Of course they are one of the boxiest vehicles ever made, so i'm thinking that even a hack like myself might have a shot at creating a reasonable semblance of one in styrene. Has it been done before? Here's some pics of full size syncros.      |

Here's a photoshop mockup i've started... I've copied and pasted a vanagon body over an SCX10 jeep. The westy will need larger than real wheel wells, but it would still look pretty good. Do you think approach angle will be a problem?  |

I never knew they made a 4wd Vanagon, cool idea on your project, good luck.

Thanks ssdub33, i saw that one before posting this thread but it's a little too small to really work for these chassis i think. So far i haven't found one with a wheelbase close to that of the SCX10
