Default Hardbody D90 for SCX10

Hi everyone,
Will rcmodelex's, or rc4wd's hardbody D90 fit the SCX-10 chassis?
I like rcmodelex's Discovery kit, but would prefer to build a modded SCX10 if I can find a hardbody to fit.
~thanks in advance : )

Yes but you will need to shorten the wheelbase to match the body. When I did it I purchased the Unlimited kit and also needed to shorten the frame a few inches.

Thank you, Fritz
I see the unlimited is 21.25" (540mm) long, where as the Dingo is 11.4" (290mm)
Which of the two bodies did you use?

You will need to also make body mounts and possible move the skid forward to keep the rear driveshaft from binding.

Hi fr8cture, thank you.

I went with the SCX10 Dingo kit, still had to shorten my rear links though. If you plan on using the D90's full interior, you will have to cut out a bit of it for spur gear and motor clearance. It was trial and error for me but got it to fit very well. I ended up ditching the spur gear cover and it helped with not having to remove so much interior. I found a pretty trick way to mount the body without posts. Using Velcro straps that loop around the slider mounts and earth magnets up front. As far as drive shaft angle after the link adjustments, I simply made the upper links a tad longer to reduce the drive shaft angle. So far I haven't had any binding or chatter at all.
