It is "tooling foil" can be purchased from dick blick online.

made my first batch of panels, this is the pinched and bobbed version-


then decided it was time to cut the "extra" out of this proline body and make the scale version that it currently is NOT.
you can see where I am cutting out an inch or so from the front of the rear corners and midway through the side of the top. Not pictured is the roof which also got cut.

Are you planning on showing how you bond the body panels and what sort of inner structure you will use to reinforce/mount the panels ?

I will try to do the exact same thing that MetalMasher does with his bodies. panels are glued up with goop/ shoe goo, clamped together and screwed into interior tabs that come off the roll cage.

Did you consider the copper or brass tooling foil they have? Then the panels could be soldered together
