|  Do I need a BEC?
I recently purchased a scx10 jeep RTR off ebay comes with a few upgrades what not. I have a question weather or not do I need a BEC installed? I plan to run stick servo for a little them upgrade to something better. I want to also install vanquish LED light bar . Will I be able to trial without a BEC or should I install one and of course how do I to about doing so? |

Look in the electronics section, and read the stickies. Everything is there, and yes a because is always a good idea.

Just get it out of the way and get one to save the headaches. No internal bec from any esc is up the task of anything crawler related.

Yes, I know people want to save money, but it will save you a lot of headache and time if you just do it in the first place.
