Axial wraith axle problems, please help

Okay, so I acquired an ax10 scorpion about a year ago with wraith axles in it and I bought some steering links and they were too long so I thought, okay, this must just be a mistake in production. Then I realized it didn't even have wraith c hubs and knuckles, so I bought some. Steering links were still too long and the dog bones were too short. The stub axle I realized wasn't the right one, so I bought some universal axles for it and they're too long. Does this mean that maybe the previous owners shaved down the axle housing to put the other c hubs on it? I've run out of ideas to try, I've just about replaced everything except the axle housing. Should I try a new axle housing?

Here's a picture with the stock wraith tierods..

The dog bones that were in it..

The new universal shafts, the knuckles won't slide far enough onto the c hubs to screw into them. The axle shaft is as far in as it can go..

This is a stock setup. Thats knuckle to knuckle , a little over 8''

Nvm, realized I measured from the wrong wide of the axle in that previous post.. here's the length that is supposed to be the same as yours

Flip your knuckle , either left to right or 180

The longer mount of the knuckle should be on the bottom.

Flipped them and it's still not the right length..

Look at the knuckle , the two mounting tabs are two different lengths , The longer one go's on the bottom.

Alright, I feel like the biggest doof in the world, it's the right length, however, that still doesn't explain why the tierods won't fit?

The tie rod is too long because you are using the double arm not the bolt on arm that goes on the other side of those knuckles.

Your using the wrong side of the knuckle

You need a set of Ackerman arms , They screw into the two hole on the other side of were they are now.
