I just got the e-mail myself! I can't believe there isn't more chit chat about this! It's about time and it looks really good! I can't wait to get my hands on one!

it would be a great candidate for a Suburban conversion!

Thumbs up Re: blazer hardbody from rc4wd

Just completed payment about 45 mins ago

Should be here in 3-8 days

Tried to Oder from rpphobby for their supersonic speed on shipping (and free shipping too!) and I'm generally faithful with all my purchases there anyhow, but RPP showed as "out of stock", so I went directly to RC4WD

There was a thread in the TF2 section... NEW RC4WD K5 Blazer Body for TF2

The more, the merrier.

Edit: Found another one from this morning in the Ascender section (for some reason): Not sure if this has been seen. But, oh my.

I almost pulled the trigger, but then decided to wait to see how well everything fits together. The only immediate gripe that I see is the rear glass- we all know that the glass rolled down into the tailgate, not lifting up like a hatch glass.

I look at it as a challenge to make it "prototypical". Looking forward to the guys that purchased these, please post pics!

Besides the New Brite stuff and the Chinese JK, I think that you are correct. After looking at the pics of the K5 body on the TF2 chassis, and how narrow the track width is, I'm guessing that this body is a bit bigger than the rest of them.

This all looks soooooo promising....

True forgot about the Chinese bodies and new bright stuff. I guess you have to include the land cruiser 80 one too. I guess I shoulda said from a hobby grade RC company

Either way, it does look seriously promising. I put my new Yota up for sale so I can buy what I need to make things bad ass

Here ya go.

Excuse the mess and the laziness to not clean a big spot on bench and lay everything out.
If anyone would like a specific image or has a question feel free to ask

Super heavy thick body!
Shocked at the thickness and strength.
Lots of cool features like the hood hinges and a molded in rare earth magnet cast right into the plastic on the hood at latch area.

Overall VERY happy with money spent

I was kinda baffled by the little gift wrapped package and card inside the box.
Cool idea and very thoughtful to add some sort of thank you, but if their going to gift something, my thoughts are make it usable as-is...
I got ONE single wheel nut/stud.
Maybe it's a trick to make you buy the other three???
