Default m2.5 scale acorn wheel studs

I see they make m2 and 4-40, but I'm looking for some m2.5's to use with my rc4wd steelies. I have a 5 lug +3 and a 6 lug +6. I need them to fit these hubs, and running big brushless power I don't trust the little itty bitty acorn nuts. Any insight or a point in the right direction would be much appreciated.

No, I want the studs. Like the 4-40 acorn studs for the slw hubs. The nuts won't work.

Check locked up rc, they might have what you want.

Locked up has the 2.5 lug nuts. Just run your bolt through the nut then throug the back of the hub. Works great. Mine came in today!

I have the lug nuts. The RC4WD hubs are threaded and I need an acorn stud to thread into the hub from the front of the wheel. I was going to drill and tap the hubs for the 4-40 studs, but the I/D of the threads is the same size as the drill bit and I don't think they'll tap without breaking the tap since they already have threads.

Another user just posted about tapping M2.5 holes for 4-40 acorn studs.

The bit that comes with the 4-40 tap slides right inside the threads, I can't cut threads into threads. Tapping them was the plan until I ran into that problem.
