Finally got the drive line and diff mounted and servo location set so now it's time to start the tube work...i was hoping to find a drive shaft combo that was a little shorter to make the two pivot points of the drive shaft and lower link line up but it cycles fine and doesnt bind or do anything weird so i'll give it a go.

This was all the tube work I was able to get done today, the body is a tricky one to fit the tubes to. It has a lot of weird angles and slight bends to it and I want the body to fit it tight so it's going to be a tough one to get done quickly...

Looks great! What's your plan for a sway bar?

Might use a VP or Dlux sway bar, leaning towards the Dlux one since it offers more tune-ability with different rate bars. Anyone have feedback on the Dlux sway bar?

DO IT! There is going to be a gathering of some folks that build custom trophy trucks in the fall to go out and run em. Even heard there might be a special guest or two...

Hey Awesome truck. I have a couple questions. 1. What are those mounts your are using for your trailing arms and upper links? 2. What size wheels/tyres are those? 3. Are they yeti trailing arms? Thanks
Keep up the good work

So I ordered Metal Concepts RC rear trailing arms and they are longer than VP trailing arms so I have to make some wheelbase adjustments, however the new arms will line up better with the drive shaft length and the two pivot points will be dead on so it's well worth the two steps backwards.

Nice build so far. I was wondering where did you get those rear trailing arm mounts that go to the chassis?and what body is that?

Mojave, pencil in on your calendar the weekend of Oct 14-16, Plaster City. Be there or be square. Should be about 30 TTs there and my 1 cars.

Ya, what are the rear trailing arm mounts from? I have a similar project in the plans. I was planning on a rustler front end cause I have it, any reason you went with the 4wd front end if you aren't going 4wd.

thanks this thing is beautiful by the way

edit, just saw what the rear mounts are, thanks. but still curious about the 4wd front end.
