I built a full Interior and was forced to make a bench seat because trans sets so far back. It required me to build up a lot of material without cutting the middle of interior out also. But my interior was all painted black so it doesn't look bad. My driver still has legs but had to cut his feet off. Which you can't see cause legs go under dash.

That is another option, I guess it all depends on how much detail you want to put in to it. I know with my truck I want to do half doors and that will require some sort of detail in the interior cause it will be visible.

I ended up making my interior out of foam sheets. It worked well. I had intentions on lining the foam with styrene but ended up not needing too. Half doors would be great. I love when the rc rigs have a good detailed interior.

I've been looking in to it and believe it's possible.
Ahhh I see. I think this would be cost prohibitive when compared to just buying a chassis already set up that way. Trying to make this work without breaking the bank or turning this inexpensive rig into something it was never intended to be.

I here you there, I like tinkering and that's why I bought mine. I'm still doing things as cheap as I can. That's why it took me couple months to get a body most were 30-100 the higher end with everything. But found it for 18 so I was able to save some money there and can move that to something else. And old stuff I bought I sold for project funds

yeah my house only has half a basement the other half is a 3 foot crawl space that has a dirt floor so I just hauled a bunch of rocks and various other things in there and set up whatever I want, it's hell on the back when I move rocks around and its really dusty since it sees no water, but its fun, great for late nights or winter weather, and the space was completely unused

That's awesome. Glad to see something being made for barrage. I made myself some sliders from brake line. Was fun learning experience but certainly would've been easier to buy them.

This is a decent looking truck in my opinion, especially for the price

as far as sliders go if you drill a couple holes in the chassis the rc4wd tf2 ones fit if you trim them a bit

Chassis mounted servo anyone?

It's still in beginning stages, but a stock everest servo plate fit nice and no holes were drilled all stock holes in chassis used. The plate will need to be cut down tho so servo arm can move freely. It's a start.

Maybe one day my Barrage will be built up like hillybillyrc's, but for now I am very happy with it.

I've heard a few guys say now they haven't experienced any problems with stock servo. I happen to be one of them. Had this truck for a little over a month. Servo is still fine but I did replace mine recently with traxxas 2075 amd happy with the torque compared to stock

The stock servo seemed fine, but I opted for a little more torque and went with this one.

STL-9660DTG/ Digital Low Profile servo w/ Titanium gear | eBay

There really aren't too many options when it comes to low profile high torque servos. This one seemed like a good choice for the price. I hope it holds up to some abuse.
