New RGT looks to be closer to an 11" wheelbase? If so would be great to use with the hardhsell Xtra Speed Jeep bodies. Really nice bodies with working doors and what not for under $50. Btw for those of you looking for other lexan body options the Proline F100 and F150 SVT Raptor for the Traxxas Stampede are 10" wheelbase and look great.

Yeah body looks decent too. And since its a cj it would be closer to 1/10 with that wheelbase, i think?

Default 1.9 Barrage RTR 1/10 Crawler

Just bought one of these on sale for less than $100. Two left so you better get them while you can.

Edit: All gone
Edit Again: False alarm the seller says he miss discounted it and needs to cancel the transaction.

Price is stupid but how cool is it. Basically a cheaper sawback.

Hello Barrage fans,

Will hardcase 2s lipo packs work with the Barrage ESC ok? I have a 20C 4000mah Venom, and a couple of 100C 8000mah from Hobby Star. Besides those lipos, I have the stock nimh pack that came with a 2wd Slash, 8.4v 3000mah, I think. Will these damage anything. or just provide longer run times? Thanks.

Battery C rating makes no difference other than more current available to draw at one time. Stick with 2S batteries. As long as it fits you can use it. I have a 5000ma 2S batt for mine. Had to raise the body to fit!. Usually use a 2200ma 2S battery. Long run times and fits in the battery box.

Batteries that big will seriously effect performance. It will roll over all the time. But any 2S battery will work. Just make sure you set your esc to lipo mode. I run 2200mah 2S in mine.

Thanks Pete. I'll see how it goes with the different 2s lipos I have. I finally actually finally received the kit, but I have to wait until Santa puts it under the tree to get building.

yeah I've been eyeballing 1900 Mah 2s for my son. i want to eventually run everything on 2s with exception of my yeti and ascender. so basically my sons barrage and my drifters will be on 2s lol but yeah i don't need like G6 reco0n 12+ hrs of batt life. sub 2000 Mah is fine for half hour trail runs.

Hi Devwon.
How did you mount the bus body please? I am thinking to try something similar. Thanks!

Kamtec does his RC Bodies in ABS and in Lexan, maybe the Lexan shell could help to save some weight.
(but it would be harder to stretch to match the wheelbase...)
