Hey folks, For those who may be interested in a source for low cost servos and other parts, I found AliExpress to be a good place to search. Most items can be found from vendors who include shipping in the cost of same. Shipping is from China, so things are not going to arrive the next day. Most items for me arrived between seven and fourteen days. Perhaps 60% arrived fourteen and twenty-one days. One order for four batteries took five weeks until I finally received them. This order was lost somewhere and then delivered to someone (not I) in California four weeks after ordered. The vendor then sent a replacement order which arrived in just one week. Here are a few of the items I ordered: Servos:All the items I received have been good quality products. They have a lot of RC stuff if you do a search for it. Give them a look.JX brand PDI-6221MG 20KG torque digital servo - ($12.99 delivered)YW Battery - LiPo 7.4V 2200 mAh 25C - ($10.50 delivered) Best wishes, Dave Wile Last edited by David Wile; 01-15-2017 at 08:00 PM. |

What suspension mods did you do? I can see you out-boarded the shocks and removed the battery brace ..... I was unable to outboard my shocks without tire interference so very curious what you did to get that much articulation. I will be switching to 1.55 wheels and tires which may solve the interference issues but would love more details / pics! inquiring minds want to know! Shocks still look in Stock location, he might have just removed the bump stops on the Shocks.

Hey Bob, Based on the ESC Specs, it would seem 3S LiPo batteries would not be a problem for the Barrage ESC. I just bought two 2S LiPo batteries which I would not have done if I had known better. Like you, I am bewildered as to how one moves the shocks outside the frame. I do not know if I would actually move mine, but I would like to know how it is done. Best wishes, Dave Wile |

It's not straight forward and takes some playing with. I got them out boarded but not to my liking. Check out my thread it shows everything. RGT bronco This is what I used http://m.ebay.com/itm/Losi-B1446-Out...653?nav=SEARCH Last edited by hillbillyrc; 01-17-2017 at 12:22 PM. |

| Re: 1.9 Barrage RTR 1/10 Crawler I flipped the chassis braces that the battery tray screws to over to gain more clearance for the steering servo and trimmed about .200" off the rubber travel limiters on all four shock shafts. I have the same amount of articulation by doing those two mods. I also went to a slightly smaller tire (DC Mud Country) and have no rubbing issues.

Hey guys, I'm new to this scene. Am from the Philippines but often times visit San Fo. Just bought my ECX Barrage last night, and looks nice for a newbie like me. Planning to upgrade the battery and get a fast charger too. any recommendations? I prefer to just get a plug and play LiPo with no modifications needed or NiMh battery if there will be no plug and play LiPo. i wouldn't want to damage my new rig and being a newbie too. thanks guys! cheers! There has been a few mentioned, on the ecx website they even give an optional servo. But any one with 15kg of torque should be fine. You can find them on ebay for 20-30 dollars

Hey folks, Here are some good high torque/low cost standard sized replacement servos available for the Barrage from AliExpress. They range in price from $5 to $15 delivered to your door. AliExpress is a good source for RC parts and equipment as well as many other things. Prices may go up or down slightly from week to week, and many vendors include shipping in the cost of the item. Shipping is from China, so do not expect items to arrive in two days. However, many items arrive within seven to fourteen days. Most items arrive within three weeks, but some things occasionally take longer. If you want something delivered within three days no matter what the cost, order it locally or better yet go to your local hobby shop and pay whatever. If you want good product at really good prices and are able to wait a week or so, check AliExpress. Best wishes, Dave Wile |

Did some work on mine over the weekend. Integy Winch with remote installed on on the stock Barrage bumper, installed an antenna on the back bumper and installed some RC4WD rock sliders. Also added some diamond plate and cut the lower edge off the body... looks much better! Here she is with a 1/18 Temper hanging off the winch. It will lift the temper with no issues! The bumper brackets flex a bit but this will mostly be used for straight pulls so should be no issues Antenna is just a piece of piano wire in a hole drilled in the back bumper. Dab of CA on top to cover the pointy bit and painted black And lastly a shot on the rocks in front of the store. Got a set of RC4wd 1.5 steelies with Dick Cepek's coming next week |
