Thanks guys I thought so too, and since it comes with the scx10 mount I think it's a no Brainer. It's my Vday present to myself from my wife lol. It's just easier that way, $30 limit each way.

I skimmed through the posts so not sure if this has already been said. But this car is manufactured by HSP. So is the ECX seen in this pic.



I saw the HSP version first hand and took a bunch of pics.

I didn't know hsp even made a scale rig. But from the rock cruiser sticker on the side of the body I'm 99.5% sure that is a rgt rock cruiser. Which yes is a clone/ copy/ sibling to the ecx barrage.

The HSP came out the same time as the Barrage. But it's $100 Australia less than the Barrage. There are also 2 or 3 different bodies for the HSP.

Only difference I noticed is battery plug and servo model.

Heres the identical truck sold as a HSP. Servo is a generic 6kg HSP unit. ESC is a hobbywing.

Well ya see, I drive a 08 Hummer H3 so this kinda had to happen.



I'll paint it silver to match my 1:1 and add on the extras I can't afford for the full scale rig lol

My new Barrage came in today!



Made the out of the box mods and checks. Removed the rear shock limiters and trimmed the fronts down. Been running around the living room today on my 2000mah lipo and no issues or read charges yet. Going to go get me a better servo in a bit too.

Oh and the scx bumper came in today too. Everything else is scheduled to deliver Friday.

Yep, got a set of 1.55's on order too, going to look even better with the H3 body once its done....

Got the bumper mount in yesterday, like it so far. We'll see once the H3 body is mounted up if it stays.

Awesome! Bumper is just begging for a winch and i cant wait to see when you get one.
I almost got a barrage for v day too until wife said lets not get each other stuff this year.
I agreed, then got her a giant stuffed teddy bear, roses, card, wine.
She felt bad but no barrage lol i broke the rules haha dammit!

Back to plan a, sell my airsoft rifles...

Oh and i looked into that whole rgt uk version thing too. Figured it out after seeing youtube reviews from uk not calling it the rgt when it clearly was an rgt. Still leaning more towards the barrage though.

I like the barrage, to be honest I only got it cause it was the right scale to build a good replica of my H3. It's still a capable rig with a little work. I have noticed now since upgrading the servo that the wussy little mount has a crap load of flex in it. Time for a Custom chassis mount and Panhard bar.

Winch should be here Tuesday I think, already have the controller.

I think I need some shorter shocks with the 1.55s and mud thrashers. And or I need to put the half limiters in the rear axel again.

I added an RC4wd snorkle over the weekend.... and promplty forgot to take pictures probably because it was so mild I spent the afternoon running the rocks in front of the store
