I'm pretty happy with my barrage but I bent a rear axle and originally the part was supposed to be available mid March now it's saying May. anybody know of a different replacement. even if I can find a shorter axle I could use some aftermarket extenders I have lying around.

Ecx temper axles are the same just not extend. If you can't find any, I have both axles out of my rgt (samething) since I have swapped to redcat everest axles. Pm me if you are interested. |

Thanks for the help guys, looks like worse case scenario the temper axles will do the job. I have my barrage set up with a Tamiya FJ40 body and some g made steel landie wheels. It looks and works awesome. It was incredibly too tippy and I couldn't find some stiffer springs so I ended up fixing the torque twist and body roll with some bic pen springs mounted onto the shaft. Once I get my post count up I'll post some pics. I literally bought this chassis for the sole purpose of using the body and wheels I had laying around awaiting a build.

Just a maintinance question. Are there any recommended lubrication areas? Had mine for 2 months now with many hours crawling. All stock. Differentials need grease? Pete |

Differentials and transmission but the transmission gears are plastic so guess it your judgement if you want to take it apart to do so.

Thanks, read on other forums that guys open the differentials and pack with grease. No problems with mine, over 24 hours running on the original servo. Pete |

Pack it but not to much where it will make drag on the drivetrain, that not good.

Further to my previous post regarding that RC4wd Hilux body I got..... I ordered the bed for the 4 door version which is about an inch shorter. I will be combining the shorter bed with the 2 door cab in hopes of having it align with the stock barrage wheelbase. Will post pics once I get the bed later this week

| Re: 1.9 Barrage RTR 1/10 Crawler Awesome! I love how people are finding these cool bodies for the barrage. I was replacing more broken plastic on my yeti yesterday and my local shop has already sold out of barrages. Thats good but the guy was like ehhh its not great. I thought of this thread and i was almost offended lol Bob i cant wait to see that rc4wd toyota body!!! And groff, with golf clubs, a razor scooter and rc stuff at your office... are you hiring?! Lol |

Here she is with the shorter 4 door bed attached and sitting on the Barrage chassis. I will need to do a bit of work to drop the body down onto the chassis and I am considering bobbing the rear of the bed to reduce overhang. And a rough photo shop of what it might look like bobbed.... I'm digging it! Last edited by bob_suruncle; 06-30-2017 at 08:01 AM. Reason: Photobucket sucks |

Yeah! if you bob the bed and stretch the wheelbase a bit that will look like most yotas on the trail. I used to be a trail guide at an offroad park and I can say I've seen more than a few Yotas that look just like your photoshop job.
