Default Winch line options

Looking for options for winch lines. I would prefer DIY options as I don't have time to wait for shipping.

You can use 80lb test fishing line or wire or thin braided steel line that you use to hang pictures

Synthetic braided fishing line from your local fishing supply store of choice.

I use .8 MM 250lb Spectra line and have 5-6 ft of it on my Warn winch.

You might consider this DIY scale, rope, and line.

Everyone who I have given one to has been happy with them. It's DIY so win, win for you

I use Spectra line as well. I use it on my stunt kites so I buy it from Into the Wind in Boulder.

took me awhile to find this, but i used this exact stuff on my first scale build that had a working winch. it was a looong time ago but i still remember it being super strong (hard to cut with scissors and incredible line strength) and its a very thin ribbon-like line so you can pack a ton on a drum.
