Look for a tcs L-trail chassis rail, but it's discontinued. Only other option I know of is making your own. You could post in the wanted section for a L-trail.

I didn't even think of Suggesting that and I have lol. Not sure how the trans mounting pattern is between the the barrage and slickrock. But with the rails and the skid the conversion would be easy. If you go that route I might have a barrage trans up for grabs. Only thing there is the barrage trans output are 5mm and I believe the slickrock pinion outputs are 4mm. But you could build drivelines out traxxas parts with will be a upgrade for the slickrock.

I was gonna mount the motor up front and try and build a transfercase. My daughter wants full interior. Plus I don't wanna cut up the newbright jeep body I have. i'll need a 2nd trans to modify anyways. lol. I haven't seen or messed with the barrage. Hows the size compare to the slickrock?

TIA

Slickrock and barrage have basically the same guts. However the slick rock skid is not the same.

As to the bolt patterns, if they do not line up, simply fill in the hole and any recesses in the skid with JB weld. Then use a piece of paper to draw a template, you can rub a pencil on the paper to show the hole locations.

Drill up new holes, and counter sink and you are in business.

You can get inexpensive driveshaft to cut up on ebay.

I want to add to this the axles, trans and shocks are basically the same 1/18th scale but the frame rails and a few other bits are 1/10 scale. It is marketed as a 1/12. It kinda a mutt on the scale of it. With mine I've swapped to 1/10 axles and have put leaf springs in the rear. The rails are basic and easy to work with. I'm also planning out a front mounted motor and t-case. As well as a cms. I have a hard body I'm working with and full interior I'm working on.

How about a build thread?
hillbilly's LOW RANGE inspired cab swapped bronco

And at the bottom of the first post is a link to my more stock rig and the things I did to it before the axle swap.
