Default 1/10 Camper Trailer Build

Gday All

I'm in the process of building a 1/10 camper trailer to pull with my LC70/SCX10.2 build, i'll post some pics this afternoon.

I'm just looking for trailer hitch options, I need to sort something to build onto the trailer and then obviously to go onto the car also

Anyone have any ideas? Would love to be able to just buy something and modify it accordingly?

Cheers

HITCH SORTED

UPDATE PICS BELOW

Check out "Sloski's Attempt at styrene" thread, down in Scale Accessories. His last couple pages of that thread have some campers that he made, maybe you can pick up some ideas.

Cheers mate

Managed to some and modify some equipment at my local hardware store.

Still a work in progress, just doing some dummy fitting at the moment, wheels for the LC70 and the trailer are on their way, lots of details still to go on!!!

Slowly coming along, tyres for the camper arrived so mounted them with the spare, contemplating painting the wheels black to match the unit I'm basing the build off.

Have also chucked on some handles, dont really like the small silver ones so may change those if I can think of something better.

I've got some RC4WD scale checker plate on its way so will be adding that up front and in a few other spots.

Still undecided on my attempt at a solar panel also.

Fuel cans and some other scale items on the way also.

This weekend will be trying to build an awning.

Spent last night hammering in small nails to look like bolts :P

Probably a mute point now, but you can also use glue and a round toothpick to apply the glue to simulate bolts or rivets. Little trick I learned as a model railroader.

Good idea...

The missus would have preferred that no doubt, she got sick of the hammering sound
