Default Remo hobbys

Has anyone seen this crawler, looks identical to an axial .
https://youtu.be/1tyM3wcu4Kc a video of it. Would this be considered a clone? I wouldn't know that's why I ask the question .

That thing actually looks pretty good. I'm interested in seeing where it comes in price-wise. That all in 1 esc/receiver is a bit of a letdown, but at least it's got a 3 wire servo so you don't have to upgrade the electronics to dump the servo.

I guess we now know where all the axial molds ended up. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the market became flooded with copy cat axial parts.

Looks like it has a CMS and beefy links with traxxas ends and a Titan motor.
So it's far better than the original.

Yes many subtle improvements over the original SCX, also has shock lower mounts seperate from lower links mounts for easier maintenance (and more shock/link mount options, Wraith style knuckles with double sheer steering link mounts, clockable splined c-hubs, beadlock wheels, built in storage box in the bed with body clip retention, instructions looks like it shows three different pinion gears, CMS, 550 motor, beeefy links as stated. Maybe it has less slop in the tranny and axles?

Edit: wow the steering wheel that slides in and out to swap right/left handed use!

What's the price point? Donor or loaner.

Does the price point really matter at this stage of scale vehicles.

Even if it was on the cheap side, much like the redcat is, the size of the pumpkin really takes it out of the donor side. Why put that much effort into a project when smaller pumpkins are available now. The rig is half way to being the improvement of the scx10ii. Unless that price is really good, I wonder why they didn't take it all the way. Maybe its just the business model. Make something sell it fast and don't worry about sustainability?

Maybe a loaner or starter rig.

Only 40 left at this price!!!!

LOL. But at $150, I’m considering it as a parts donor rig.

Im not to happy with axial at the moment no real reason i just feel they should show some appriciation to there customers who spend alot of money with there company (lame rules at axial fest) kinda stupid i know but i wouldent feel bad about buying a clone right now if the sale is still on on the 1st i might pick one up thats a great price even if it needs some upgrades out of th3 box

I just couldent pull it off but the sale is still on

What "lame rules" did they have? I have never been but bought my first rc recently (rr bomber) and watched the videos of it on youtube.

They limit what custom parts can be run in there event so even though my rigs are 90% axial based that 10% custom work disqualifys them from being run at axialfest i spent alot of money building my rigs i feel i should be alowed to run them i dident go because i dident want to deal with any bully isht and they raised the price so much it was out of my budget so basicly i feel unappresiated like i sead its stupid and petty but its how i feel
Also im so close to there i can go to cisco grove anytime i want $5 day pass and i can run the same terain all day long

I realy want a honcho but not bad enuff to buy the axial honcho i just dont have enuff cash to pick one of these up right now though maybe next month

I did get one of the clone hammers side by sides lol

Just watched it, just needs to be weighed down up front and should be a capable rig to loan to someone.

When mine arrive I've got adjustable 110 mm shocks tire weights to weigh the rims, 15w shock oil and a 4200 nimh battery to install and test.
