More info: http://os.3racing.hk/carkits_web.php...key=107&type=d You can see the lack of panhard here: ... and there seems to be quite a bit of angle on the steering link attached to the servo: ... but no manual to look at yet: http://os.3racing.hk/support.php?products_key=7712 Last edited by StomperCrawler; 01-06-2018 at 02:23 AM. Issues with that axles aside, Habao is known for making solid RCs that have good support and don't cost a fortune, so I have high hopes.

| Re: Let the flooding of the scale market begin It's probably the shaft itself. Hobao tend to over build some parts. For instance the diffs in their 8th scale buggies and truggies are near legendary and probably half the price that TLR, Tekno or X-ray charge of a similarly tough part.

How pathetic are some people! Sit there and bag new products poor quality, yet will praise the very ground a Wraith drives on, even though most don't last 3 packs before your up for multiple upgrades. Looking forward to more of this realistically priced competition coming through. |

My Wraith will likely do wheelies off of the POS. I did build mine from scratch one order at a time, too. Not the RTR. But I am glad other companies are stepping up to the plate nonetheless. I wouldn’t mind having one of those trannies though. Although Hyundai started off as crap and have upped their cars quite a bit. I still wouldn’t own one, but can’t knock them either. With Axial flailing and Traxxas on top who knows what’s in store now.

Pillow balls will never survive what the general public is gonna throw at them with 3/4s lipos and brushless motors Its not a Traxxas Revo suspension ..... it was used for years prior in 1/8 scale and Ofna/Hobao was pretty known for always having it on their cars. Ofna's plastics were always pretty durable so hopefully they kept the formula. Correct myself, just looked at the user manual and yup internal spur. I like the compactness but ya should have used a planetary instead. Last edited by Robbob; 01-15-2018 at 08:39 AM.

Weird pillow knuckles aside, it doesn't seem any bad. Maybe no panhard bar but be honest, before Ascender all panhard bars were custom built! Not a big problem. The body sports a strange grille, probably due to no license, but the body lines are unequivocally, Mercedes G-wagen, series 463 lwb! It's missing just a 3d printed custom front grille and headlights to look like the real one! Last edited by rockspider; 01-15-2018 at 05:14 PM. |

I've run several vehicles with pillow balls over the years and have had no issues. Turning radius however might have some limitations.

Build a crawler and have it break it becomes the designs fault and the 8 foot fall you took or the axle that was bound up around itself while you throttled out of it. And Ive seen plenty of Traxxa's rip the pillows right out but it was never the drivers fault lol.

| Re: Let the flooding of the scale market begin guess you've never run 10th scale nitro on-road, or 8th scale on-road? they're all pivot ball suspensions and handle way more than way a 3/4s lipo puts thru - especially once you crash at full song in 2nd gear

I want one of each: 3racing and Hobao. We may have to sell an Axial to make it happen. LOLZ
