any reason these lockouts wouldnt work?
Actually looks like the axles are quite different. For some reason i thought those were an interchangeable part.

Gen2 I'm unsure but I know this will work and a couple bucks cheaper to boot.

Gen 2 axles and gen 1 axles axle housing and shafts are only different

Yup I just got those in. Still debating what to do. I am gonna do another one so might just beef up one and then swap axles on another.

RC4wd now has aluminum bumper mounts for the Barrage. Also shows Trail Finder 2 bumpers that are compatible.

Is this a RC4WD typo??

thinking it should have been front "OR" rear for 12 bucks.

What's Included:
1x Front and Rear Bumper Mount for ECX Barrage

And everywhere else on that page it says both.

That's a big typo.

Order now. I’m not at work today to see if it’s in the system like that. Will find out tomorrow.

I see no typo ... it's $12.99 the bumper mount that can be used indifferently on front and rear, not $12.99 the pair of bumper mounts

"1 front and rear mount." Not "One Pair of front and rear mounts."

My barrage is long past bumper mounts. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I think its one of those potato/potahto things IMHO.

Just wanted to make a note that pinion gears between Gen 2 Barrages w/ 390 motor are not compatible w/ Gen 1 370 Motor Pinion gears. The 390 motor shaft does not seem to be a common size as my other pinions gears for 540/550 motors are too big for it. Anyone know the exact size? Or I have a Axial 40t 380 from yeti Jr w/ pinion gear I will see if fits.

Thanks for clarifying this, hobbyjumper. I attempted to drill out pinion from a smaller 370 motor shift to fit the 390 shaft, but the bit walked and drilled off center. So much for that.

It amazes me how smooth the crawling is at 0 throttle DR. I tried the pinion too but went right back to stock.

So, if I understand well... you said you already tried the Latrax 370 28T motor and/or the Axial 380 40T and that you were disappointed by the result ?

Shame, I wanted to try those in my rig...

(couldn't find your build video)

Anyone have luck with finding parts anywhere? Specifically looking for lockers and frame rails but it looks like everything is out of stock / discontinued.

Locker have been hard to find for a long time. I seen a frame rail set on eBay but the front was like a scx10. When the stock is not.

Redcat spools are on Amazon and from Redcat too but I'm sure it will run out again.

I finally tried 3s lipo today. I am using a Gens Ace 3s 2200 lipo from my Align Trex 450 pro!

Before that I used a Thunder Power 2s 2250 that a friend gave me. Either one works well but I have two of the 3s lipos to use. I'll be bringing both so I can run for 3 hrs or more.

My 2s lipo will be used as a Rx battery for my Align Trex 550e now.
