So have anyone made a dashboard that will fit in the Dodge PW body ? While it are a pretty simple dash in the old Dodge, then i am lazy enough that i might just jump the fence where it are lowest and buy a dashbord Vs making my own. The seat from the TF2 almost fit like a glove, so that's a done deal. Last edited by Peaker; 03-03-2018 at 12:45 AM. |

A few chages going on. Have inboarded the rear shock towers ( to better fit in the bulge in the rear bed ) Have outboarded the rear shocks 4 mm on the axle. Have moved steering servo as its default location collide with the SSD transmission ( ordered ) Servo now sit across the chassis in DIY alu mounts, using the steering bar from the TF2 as it fit like glove and i have no other option to fab a custom one. Contemplating flipping the link/damper mounts on the axles to make it sit 10 mm lower, unsure if it can be done on front axle, will experiment later on today. As it is now the body really sit too high on the SCX 10 II, and i cant go and buy shorter dampers, so will have to fab my way around this issue. Contemplating making hole in bed for rear shock towers. Next up are finding some 1 mm sheet ALU and go to a former employer and fab it up to some sort of spacer / slider / cabin bottom, and then screw that to the rails, after that come DIY inner fenders, probably beaten out of some 0.5 mm sheet ALU in metalmasher style. |
