Wow, in the UK with the cheap shipping we get stuff in 5-7 days, I can get stuff quicker from RC Mart than my local model shop can get stock in....

Huh...I would've expected the opposite. Don't you guys still pay TV tax and hefty customs fees?

Nope, I’m doing orders at RC Mart, Asia Tees, Stella Models etc most weeks and get stuff super quick, I had an order from Stella turn up in 3 days a couple months ago.... Most stuff from HK and China gets through without any import taxes and I haven’t paid TV License for years lol

For anyone looking, rcrun.com is the USA/Canada importer. I've bought most of my Sawback parts from there.

They don't have it highlighted on the main page, but if you search for GS02 they have kits bits and a few upgrades now in stock.

Search - GS02

Ha! didn't even notice that. I assume they are also a distributor too. Curious as to why the parts are not in the storefront yet.

We added a GS02 page to make it easier to know what SSD parts are compatible: Parts For GMade BOM GS02

Finished the chassis on mine with few challenges/complaints, but then I got to the body.

I have to say, of all the kits I've done this is the thinnest, cheapest body I've encountered yet. First time I could ever slide the Lexan scissors down the sill plates to trim without actually actuating the scissors like Christmas wrapping paper. Over spray film is like Kleenex, and the window masks were probably further off (too small) than any other kit I've encountered as well.

Nothing that couldn't be overcome and certainly no reason to condemn the kit, and I realize I'm spoiled by Pro-Line and JConcepts bodies, but I expected better from Gmade.

My Axial SCX10 II body was the exact same way - way too thin and pure garbage. My dad's is much thicker. I wonder if you got a bad body or if they are all like that.

I haven't seen that comment from anyone else, so maybe...that or everyone else is calibrated to Axial bodies.

I'm actually working on my BOM body now and yes, the lower side sills are fairly thin but the rest of the body seems normal to what I'm used to from various other manufacturers.

Interesting. Sounds like a mold filling issue assuming they weren't purposely making the body thinner at certain spots.

Like I said, I'm spoiled by Pro-Line and JConcepts. Maybe I just got a bad shot.

I'm not sure what chassis I'm going to use this BOM body for, but I thought I would paint it up anyhow. Also some shots with it mocked up sporting an Ascender rear chassis. FYI, the Bomber interior works pretty good with this cab.
