Must be brushless the way they launched off the ledge near the beginning.

Seems to be tough anyway, that's encouraging.

I'm just really anxious to get it. I like the build process more than driving, I think...this is the first time I've pre-ordered a kit and I think it's going to have to be the last!

That engine noise was irritating.

I always mute the sound watching vids from that side of the world. They seem to always have either cheesy sound kits, godawful ESC's or nerve rending techno music.

Aside from the sound, that was a fun video.

I'm definitely liking it more after all the recent information updates, except I'm still not a fan of the overly boxy cab and would immediately swap tires. Be neat to see what cab swaps might work out well...?

Wonder if the Vaterra Ford F100 cab lines up well with the caged back?

Unlikely. While doing a custom project I realized the Vaterra C10 and F100 cabs have odd dimensions. They seem to be based on 1/10 touring car dimensions. The width is what you would expect, but the passenger compartment area is much smaller (shorter) than Proline's SCX10 C10 body, for example.

Guess we had too much fun with the GOM teat run thread...it mysteriously vaporized.

I have some great paint scheme ideas...now if I could just have a Hemistorm moment instead of a string of "Well, that sucked" moments...

Until we have a measurement of the cab height and width, it'll be hard to tell whether to try cabs made for SCX10-shaped cages or Ascender cages will work best - there is a certain low and wide look to the GOM cab that still gives me hope...

Everytime I look at the stock body I think Chevy S10!

(shuddering inwardly...)

I just noticed the Ascender in your avatar so you probably already understood the difference in body sizes I was talking about. My bad.

I will gladly provide those dimensions upon box opening. I can do a fitting on my Ascender too for photographic scrutiny.

I always saw the S10 too. I'm ok with that, at least I never saw a f***ing RANGER or I would've never ordered it.

How's this for inspiration?
