|  Hard Body Hinge kit?
Anyone aware of a kit or a home brew way of being able to hinge a hardbody similar to the flip your lid kit for the honcho or the everest setup? I'm looking to get all my ducks in a row and have on hand before I start my raptor hardbody scx10.2 build.

Shouldn't be too hard to DIY, but it all depends on how everything is set up. Your case will be different from everyone elses.

I used two pieces of angle aluminum to make mine. I bolted the angle to the bottom of the bed and then on the outside of the frame rails with a 6x70mm link between the rails. I put a washer between the bolt and the angle and got it tight but not so tight it wouldn't open. It's hard to understand with just a description but I'll try to get a pic. |

Here is a pic of what I did to mine. MST CMX chassis Radio Shack Hardbody Avalanche I did add the missing screw too.  |
