Thanks. I guess the red vs black diff covers threw me off! :-)

I like the features but the price of the axles might be a little high for my project. May have to look into alternatives of a similar width.

Also I agree, red diff covers are not the best!
Arent the SCX10 axles 192mm? so with the above kit they get reduced 1/4" either side .. so say 12-13mm overall that only brings them down to 180mm right?

These BRX70 axles are 148.5 pin to pin .. is it possible to get the SCX10 axles any where near to that?

I am really tempted to pick up some of these .. look really nice.. just $$$. It would be awesome to have a more inexpensive alternative in the same ballpark width wise.

A saw, epoxy, and some metal tubing was the way we used to narrow axles back in the day. I'm no fabricating genius but I managed to make these 150 mm AR60 housings for my cousin's New Bright TJ build. You could do the same thing with a set of AR44s

Unfortunately no, my lazy cousin still hasn't finished building the truck I made those axles for.

Really digging all the features Boom has put into these axles. They seem like a perfect replacement for Rc3wd Yota axles. However they are not cheap. I realize this width of axle puts it into a niche market, but it's hard to pay the same for one Boom axle what a pair of Trx4 axles cost. I see now one of the reasons the Boom scale kit is so expensive.
