Bummer, not much shown on the truck. Just some external stuff and started talking about one of their rigs. Didn't take it apart or anything, yet. I asked for a wheel removal! haha

Live videos are typically kept and you can replay them whenever you want. I searched and cannot find it though.

Looked like the FB video is only on mobile devices, couldn't find it on the desktop site but watching on my phone.

Edit. and it's over. Only talked about the truck for like 5-10mins. Ultra bummer.

I'm not sold on the truck. Looks spindly and lots of plastic. It's going to be interesting to see how this truck is received outside of the sponsored team drivers and fan boys.

Considering RC4WD doesn't make this, the list of JD Model team drivers & fan boys should be mighty short.

Yes, but isn't RC4WD a distributor or the distributor? Are you saying team drivers won't get these trucks from RC4WD?

I am not a team member of rc4wd but I am a fan of the JD Models pseudo-rc/pseudo static model offerings. I like my Dakar truck by them/rc4wd, just wish it was 1/8th scale is all. Reason I like this Hero truck is because it wasn't the 1/12-1/16 scale range. And I built a IFS SCX back in 2012 and wanna see how the guts of this truck look. The dakar truck is different as it mixed rc4wd parts and jd parts, all mostly metal. I bet the plastic will hold up fine for how I will drive this Hero truck. I hope.

I'm with you. It's more about the chassis than anything for me. I could care less about the body.

I watched the rerun of the JS Scale Facebook Live video. The box says RC4WD right on it.

I'll definitely wait for the second wave of reviews as we know the first wave will be sponsored content.

My question is who's going to be the first to make this truck into a 4 wheel independent suspension rig? It may also make a cool parts base for a scale on-road vehicle.

Cool, so they put their name on the box. It's still made by JD Model.

Probably 8pm EST, Live on Youtube but then up forever immediately afterwards.

Anything you all are looking for specific in pictures or videos? I had sent Daniel at Stonerockers some questions before his video to cover and he did that awesomely.

Mine "looks" to be out for delivery this morning.

yeah its made by JD Models but distribution is from RC4WD. not hard to figure out. (that said will there be biased reviews? maybe...)
and 4 wheel independent? why?! what raptors have you seen with 4 wheel indp.? i could understand solid axle front conversion like some tacomas have done. but if you want... i mean just get a slash? Jato i agree with you on a lot of things but this one really threw me off.

anyway i look forward to an unboxing in ENGLISH. i mean its Canadian English but i understand that better than French. ;) Thanks Matt! btw cool to see the Loco Hauk in my copy of RCCA.
