i agree it looks GREAT!
love the color scheme and i would do the same as you and remove/shave those 4 weird lights on the roof.

well done! cant wait to see what metal work it gets, i assume bumpers?

*im still on the fence for one of these. i have yet to make a final tally for my xmas fun tickets. need a few things to finish the 3D printed 79 so it might be tight.

Had to set my priorities straight and get back to work on my 79 ford. This one isn't going to happen soon for me but I will get one eventually.
The blue looks great and hopefully resolves the issue of paint rub when you open the doors.
Only problem now is... Same problem you always have with running an RTR colored body lol

Glad to see they didnt just give up after one color.
Maybe they will give us the other unchecked colors on the box.

Um it's no longer available on the rc4wd website??
And I dont mean out of stock. Its like GONE. No evidence of it ever being there and old links says product not found.
But its still on RPP and Amain... Weird.

Still thinking really hard about getting one.
Just bought me a 1:1 2019 f150 supercab (not a raptor) and this is the closest thing in 1:10, so... Yeah. Would have to do some styrene work to give this a proper 4 door cab (and stretch chassis wheelbase)... And hopefully it gets released in white.

Anywho yeah just weird it's not on the rc4wd website.

hmm. A-main says they have them in stock. Yet like shinchu said rc4wd seems to wiped them from existence. I hope they release a chassis only kit. I was going to buy a tf2 for a class o build but this would work a lot better with the ifs. Then again I'm sure the body would sell for a great price.

Maybe they got hit with a cease and desist for not licensing the Raptor body from Ford, especially since Jiangling lost the legal battle with its Range Rover Evoque knockoff, the Landwind X7.

"Despite laws in China that protect copycat vehicles, JLR won the case on the basis the vehicles were so similar, buyers were actually confused which was which."

There's no confusion that the Hero body isn't a Raptor.

That sounds very plausible.

I wouldn't be surprised.

RC4WD is a small, US based company and it would be super easy for Ford to hit them with legal action, however good luck trying to get JD Models out in China.

I was able to get one luckily, after I ordered it, I tried to show my son on rc4wd and like stated before it was gone from the site entirely.

Has anybody started a build thread on this rig yet?

RC4WD is still releasing new option parts for it, so if you have one at least there's that...

I still kinda want one eventually. If only for the IFS and modern ferd hardbody. I would need to cut it apart and make it a crew cab regular f150 like my 1:1 though ;)
