Sweet. I’ve always wanted a Samurai. I can foresee some nice builds with this body. |

Looks amazing. Does anyone know of a solid CAPO dealer in the US? RPP Hobby once carried the 4 door CAPO jeep IIRC, but I don't see anything from CAPO on their site currently. CAPO kits all go for big money and from what I can see they are absolutely worth it, but I don't feel comfortable spending that much with a seller I'm unfamiliar with. |

Ultra-scale! looks neat, but not my thing. It looks too much like the real thing.

| Re: Who wants one ?? I think for some it is. Perhaps those are the true scale modelers, I dunno. Personally I prefer builds that also infuse a good balance of embellishment and imperfection. I find them more interesting. If I wanted to look at the real thing I would just go to a car lot.

As cool as that is, I've got to wonder why they went to such great detail, but then put it on coil springs?

You can get a Jimny with coil springs, and radius arms I think. Regardless, it certainly looks the part. What's the price of admission? And what's going on in the trans? 3 speed? |

So with a title like that I assume you're giving them away Frank, Put me down for 2 lol Pretty cool but I agree we need a US dealer to feel more comfortable with this brand. Its actually 1/6 scale I can see one shift/dog in the tranny so 2 speed minimum. theres a lot of gears though, there must be more to it than a 2 speed. I also see a servo in the rear, I wonder what thats doing? lockable diff or selectable 4WD maybe? Or 4 wheel steering, I see a panhard bar in the rear. The JK Max around US1300. So this samurai must not less than the JK? Or around the same price?

Frankly, I'd be happy with a slightly bigger Lexan Suzuki body and plunk it down on a 10.95"-11.4" Ascender or SCX10 chassis... I love the little Pro-Line Samurai body, but I'm not sure I want a Barrage or MST chassis under one. But, I'll likely get one anyways as my "TTT" (truly-tiny-tire) rig, for the extra crawling challenge, someday. Mainly to do up like the 1:1 my dad had up until he passed. That Capo is sweet, but I wouldn't want to actually off-road one... The trouble with true-scale rigs is that they can only cope with the mildest types of terrain - it's the same issue with that RC4WD Ford F-150. It's just gonna be too delicate. In my humble opinion, of course... What I REALLY want is the brand-new Suzuki Jimny 1:1, here in the States: |
