Hopefully it’s a 1.9 U4 rig. That would be something fresh and exciting imo

Well if we assume the most boring option then it's just a new body.

If Axial wants to remain anywhere near the top of the sales game the SCX10 III better be coming sooner rather than later. Although the SCX10 II could still be selling like hotcakes and I'd never know since I don't have access to those numbers. If this is just another Jeep body on one of their existing chassis

Look at Traxxas with the TRX-4. They already have a licensed Land Rover, Ford and Chevy all on the same chassis. They didn't just get one license from one brand and give us the same turd body over and over and over again. Axial Jeeps are nauseating at this point!

Right, a new SCX10 chassis hopefully.

Yep.

No. If it didn't, it should have.

however, traxxas has been getting most of my money lately, my scx10.2 kit isnt even assembled from when it was released.
axial really needs to step up their game!
Yes!

Me too, freakin X-Maxx babeeeee! UDR so sweet too, don't see how Axial or anyone could compete with these.

I don't think Axial needs to compete with the X-Maxx. That's never been Axial's gig. They could compete with the UDR with a Yeti XL V2 that isn't an unreliable POS pretty easily.

Hell, if Traxxas, Axial & Losi could get their poop together and settle on a common size for these overgrown solid rear axle short course trucks, I could see it creating a whole new racing class.

Um...well I guess the rumors were true! I didn’t expect to see this before an updated SCX10.2.

That actually looks pretty cool.

But I'm confused. It's an SCX10 II with a Deadbolt-ish body and they are calling it a 1.9 Wraith? Or am I missing something?

Hopefully Rich Trujillo chimes in here and lets us know if this gets updated plastics.

The rear does look different now that you say it. I thought just the plastic boat sides are different.

Still not what I consider a Wraith because they are tube chassis rigs.

I was kind right my my guess it was going to be a Wraith.

Looks like a plastic chassis. Same plastic as the roll cage.

It is a full tube chassis. Top picture on the back of the box.

Nobody else sees the text on the box: "The foundation of the Wraith 1.9 Platform is this new, full tube frame chassis with the durability you’ll need for fast action on, up and over the rocks”

So the 1.9 Wraith is official, using AR44s and a new body/cage design that can be separated without having all your electronics in it.

I didn't see that. Pictures are too blurry to read on mobile.

Who's going to be the first to convert the 1.9 Wraith to 2.2?

That's interesting. I wanna see more. More importantly, is it made from the new plastics?

So are the AR44's wider than SCX10.2 width or the same? I can't really tell.
