Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival Lmao totally not what i thought it was hahahaha i seen CRX. And thought honda..... But still neat chassis Sent from my LG-M703 using Tapatalk |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival It's cool to see the clones making kits. Maybe kits are coming back. But this has nothing different that would even tempt me to try it. |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival Im not seeing much "clone" here. axles and trans look like unique. CRX v.1 eng | Hobbytech-rcenanglais |

Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival the fact that it has cms but no panhard turns me away instantly. what kinda engineering is that Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival I don't know anything about the chassis, but the body is pretty cool and I REALLY dig this paintjob. Poking around their website, it looks like Danny Huynh did the paint. His creativity is always off the charts. Love it. News | Hobbytech-rc https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...ac&oe=5D4509C8 |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival The body looks like a Nukizer done better than both Axial and RC4WD. The grilled is hard plastic as seen in other photos. |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival Does Hobbytech have a distributor in the USA? |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival I've been sending emails back and forth with hobbytech to see if I can get my hands on a clear body. Still haven't gotten a straight answer. They keep trying to push the whole rig on me. I don't want the whole rig. I just want the body. If it comes available I'll probably get it instead of another Nukizer and make a truggy out of it. I'll let you guys know what I find out from then. |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival It's a classic '60s Jeep Gladiator body, whereas the Nukizer is a Jeep Concept-only truck. I'm sure they'll sell tons of the body if they make it available separately. |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival More of us should bug them about it. If they see there's demand for it maybe they'd be more likely to make it available. |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival The tires look like a mix between Hyrax and something else. I wonder how the compound is, and whether it'll do any good. |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival Hyrax + Gmade MT1904 made a baby.... but mama drank during pregnancy. |

Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival Ok guys here's the body CRX BODY | Hobbytech-rc Here's where to buy it. Crawler Survival clear Body fully complety set Looks like $77 and change for this body, but does come with grill and everything so really that's not all that bad. Don't know if I would spend that much to cut the bed off and make a truggy out of it tho. "thumbsup" |
Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival That body (minus the ugly snorkel) is pretty nice, best looking Gladiator type RC pickup body I've seen yet. Pass on the rest of it. |

Re: Hobbytech CRX Survival OMG, I need a tutorial on these paintjobs ASAP. There looks to be a lot of wet sanding involved but I can't figure out how he does the dirt/rust so well. |
