Doesn't look to be a new product release. RC4WDFest maybe?

I tend to agree. If it was a new product, the "teaser" photos certainly have nothing to do with it unless it's a 1/18 Marlin (I sure hope not).

That's what I was thinking.

I don't think they'd show the truck if it was a new release.

Pretty stoked about that. East coast seems to get all the hardcore scale events...not easy for us left coasters to get to. Looks like it could be worth the couple hour drive to central CA.

Every time i search for events, most of them are either CA or in the north eastern area. Closest to me is huntsville AL n southern TN

The west coast has a lot of events where driving is the main focus (Axialfest, PL By the Fire, etc), the east coast has ECSC, USTE, and others where the scale building aspect is as important as the driving.

I believe he is saying the west coast lacks the latter type of events.

Yeah seems to me west coast is mostly 2.2 gnar gnar comp style truggy builds that rarely have interiors.

Really bummed me out last year at proline to see the winner of the show and shine was a bone stock out of the box rc4wd dakkar rally truck. Lame. There was easily a dozen rigs out there with scratch built details better than that costly rtr.

Hopefully this rc4wd event will cater to those tiny truck drivers who can't quite make the trip to awesome events like uste.

Congrats to rc4wd and I wish them the best of luck.
(Will I go? Too early to tell and it's quite a bit farther than apple valley for this San Diegan)
