X2, I know it was claimed more suspension up travel, but it seems like the frame rails hang too low in the rear and going to get in the way dragging on stuff.

Missed you at PLBF.

Fantastic event. Overflowing with fun.
X2, great crawling with you in 2018, wish we had managed to coordinate better this year.

  • Stiffness
  • Accepts offset axles and provides the necessary clearances for full travel with offset front axle
  • Aluminum battery tray
  • Additional upper link mounting positions
  • A direct swap / bolt in solution for an aftermarket SCX10 Chassis (Most plate style chassis require a lot of work) And its the first C-Channel option?
  • Rigid solution for mounting Vanquish sliders and aftermarket sliders with this bolt pattern (Origin sliders bolt on for example)
  • Servo and Winch mount
  • Winch cable routing

I could go on. The biggest thing we focused on was chassis stiffness and versatility. Everyone that came by the Vanquish booth at BTF was able to put their hands on it and try to twist the frame to see how stiff it really was (dont take that out of context )
Nice feature list, but why cap head allen screws instead of smoother and better looking button heads? Whoa!!!

Great to see these chassis kits available.

I'm convinced the chassis layout is one of the biggest factors that makes my VS410 feel more stable and easy to drive compared to my SCXII with the stock layout.

I’ve also got both. Only difference is tires and shocks. The Dravtech shocks are the difference, making my SCX10ii a bit better climbing. The VS4 is king of my trails.

I think its just an illusion that it hangs low due to the higher rise in the back of the chassis. Im running an Axial Rubicon body on my current vs4-10 with the exact chassis kit setup and no rear bumper. Ive never noticed it. I will check for marks in the plastic when I get home now that you've brought it up.

The plastic is very stiff, we wanted to avoid stripping 2.0mm heads and decided to go with capheads for longevity. I do agree that buttonheads provide a sleeker look.

The goal is to ship out all pre-orders by tomorrow afternoon. Did you order direct from Vanquish or a dealer? Dealers orders will ship at the same time and then its up to them to receive and ship to customers quickly.
