Will it survive?
 

Good afternoon everyone, I've got a Gen 1 Ecx Barrage and I'm curious as to whether or not something like that would survive the rigors of a Recon G6 event? Right now it's stock, what upgrades would be necessary to survive the event? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

It will need some mods but I say go for it. Upgrades are available here

My son got a v1 and it survived proline by the fire 2018. All it had was a set of pit bull rock beasts on 1.55 gearhead wheels.
Bone stock on 2S it keep up with rigs 3x its price.
*almost forgot the servo died way before we got to proline so that had a full sized replacement. Just a spare I had laying around. Also I had to glue the top front link back into the end as it pulled out despite being threaded. Those are the ONLY problems I had. Might want to invest in some redcat lockers for the diffs though. Thats next on my list.
