Help inspire me please: a better “honcho”

Ok so my first real Rc was the og honcho. I love that thing, and I’m not really sure why. I’m very tempted to get another (currently have a scx10 iii and a tf2) but it seems the one that’s currently available isnt really worth buying (plastic links and gears vs metal in the blazer for $20 more).

I’ve been really getting into hardbody scale trucks and was wondering if there were anything y’all have put together that has a similar truggy look to the honcho, and if so what did you use for the chassis?
