Ok paid for subscription....let’s see if it works haha.

Made a floor jack. Just a quick styrene mock up. Will make a more accurate one later on but the guys got tired of lifting things by hand

You might want to put the other handrail on them stairs, OSHA likes to make surprise safety inspections

Yeah, might want to add and eye wash station as well. When they see all those stains on the floor they'll have to assume you have accidental spills.

Wow! Great job on the car lift! All of the hydraulic lines and scale bits look spot on!

And that compressor looks cool! Oh and another thumbs up for the floor jack!

I'm really liking the "I spy" game I get to play every time I check in! The scale items look so cool and real that it takes a bit to see exactly what they are really made of!

Couple of shots of some pre-trip inspection action. These idiots insist on sitting in the truck the whole time. In fact I think the Deadbolt driver may be...dead. Haha

Haven’t done much to it lately, too busy working on the Enduro. Added chain to the roll up doors and some random scrap metal above the big door just for detail. I’m imagining they are windows. Kind of like port holes lol.

If I have time tomorrow I am going to figure out another tire rack so I can make room for another tool of some sort, maybe a bearing press if I have enough random parts. I picture that involving pen springs.

The boys found a 1960s hydraulic bearing press at auction. Has foot pedal so you can smash all of your fingers at once.

Made of scrap things, and as predicted pen springs made an appearance.

Tucked away in its new home.

Added some tiny angle grinders, sawzall, extension cords. All random scrap things. Went DeWalt yellow on the tools

So now I have the following items - let me know what you think is missing/critical for real world wrenching on a trail rig/rock crawler.

Lift
Compressor
Drill press
Chop saw
Tubing bender
Bearing press
Table vise
Welder
Sink
Tool chests
Work benches
Engine hoist
Computer (monitor/keyboard/mouse) to look up parts
Tools: angle grinder(2), DA sander, sawzall

Off the top of my head I come up with cordless drills, cordless impact (plus related chargers on desk), a few unraveled extension cords, acetylene torch, a few shop fans, and a few small hand tools, hats, gloves, and a welding mask. Maybe a few tiny beer cans. Might add a large screen TV if I can find somewhere to hang it, and a few stools for the guys to sit on, maybe one that rolls. I am toying around with building a second level above this one that will house a paint booth, media blaster, and more storage. Ideally would like it next door to this garage but I have room to go up, but not sideways.

Alternatively I may transfer the entire garage to the other side of the room because I have a longer bench over there that I'm not using. That may be an extreme rainy day/wife is out of town project.
