| MN99S with 370 motor slow
Hi, I have purchased a MN99S RTR and the engine pinion went loose so I decided to upgrade the motor with a 370 motor, exactly this one. It works decently well, more torque but it is damn slow. What options do I have to get more speed? 3S batteries? Another 370 motor? Thanks for any help! |

I have the Tamiya torque tuned 370 in my WPL C24, i think its a good motor, but not very cheap. The Kyosho blizzard 370 motor is has about the same performance, but is cheaper. But i dont know how they compare to the stock motors. i suspect they rev a whole lot more. I bought a new reduction gearbox with 1:36 reduction, and that works great. I think the reduction gearbox that comes with those banggood motors is a 1:20-something. Best regards/Andreas |

Another option: 2 speed gearbox, either the original plastic WPL version (which is pretty bulletproof), WPL type with metal housing or the RBR/C version, which is all metal and noisy (lots of metal gears) but is more compact with a lower profile.
